Kommune Kujalleq is uniquely positioned, as the Parliament's legislation on supporting people with disabilities has been temporarily suspended. This means we operate in a changing environment, and since November 2024, the government has taken on higher-level responsibilities. You will soon notice our close collaboration with social workers and the Social Administration. As a lead social worker, you will have the opportunity for professional consultation and support to develop your tasks and create secure frameworks for your colleagues. Your new tasks will include: • Managing and coordinating caseworkers and ensuring important coordination. • Establishing frameworks and procedures for caseworkers. • Ensuring knowledge and understanding of tasks, working closely with caseworkers. • Prevention and outreach work in collaboration with various companies and the local community. • Taking ownership of cases and case management to ensure continuity. • Contributing to staff well-being, development, and administration. About you: We imagine you are a trained social worker with a strong commitment to tasks. You can act calmly in situations and have a comprehensive view. You enjoy working closely with colleagues in the administration and other municipal departments. It would be beneficial if you: • Are a trained social worker, preferably with relevant further education. • Have management experience or are willing to try it. • Can work well with good colleagues and live in a unique natural environment. • Enjoy collaborating with various authorities. • Are curious and good at finding solutions.
