Social Pedagogical Seminar (SPS) is seeking an instructor and coordinator for social and legal subjects in Ilulissat. The position involves coordinating education and teaching across Greenland. Flexibility and a focus on development are key, with the option for remote work. Applicants should have experience in social work and teaching.

The seminar has a total of about 300 students distributed across eight different programs, including three continuing education programs.
We have a total of about 50 employees, of which around 20 are instructors.
PI/SPS covers all of Greenland with the following essential areas of function:
- to educate and further educate qualified pedagogical staff for all of Greenland
- to inspire professional and educational development in the social pedagogical sector
- to contribute to raising the overall education level in society
We are looking for an instructor/coordinator for the social and social law subject area, who will also be the coordinator for the two modular continuing education programs:
- The vocational education for Advisory Assistant (RA)
- Academy education to Advisor in Social Work (RSA)

You are assigned to the main department of PI/SPS.
The position can be performed with remote work from other locations in Greenland if the applicant is unable to relocate to Ilulissat.
If you choose to move to Ilulissat, there will be housing available.
You should be able to coordinate the framework for the two programs while also having teaching responsibilities when possible.
You should expect that there will be travel activities. There may be teaching assignments throughout Greenland.
You will become part of a skilled work and teaching team at PI/SPS with the opportunity to collaborate on interdisciplinary work. Additionally, as a coordinator, you will have the chance to influence and further develop teaching programs in line with the Seminar's vision of contributing to making a difference in the social and educational field throughout Greenland.
The position is located in our Course Department.

- You are a trained social worker and would like to supplement your education with a relevant master's or graduate degree in the social field.
- you have professional experience in either advisory work or social work within the social sector
- you have teaching experience and are motivated by teaching adults

- we prefer that you are Greenlandic-speaking – as a large part of the teaching will take place in Greenlandic

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Housing
An unfurnished staff housing can be assigned to the position according to the applicable rules at any given time. Housing cannot be assigned to individuals who already have staff housing or another property owned by the municipality or the Government of Greenland. Rent and deposit are paid according to the applicable rules for the assigned housing. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
Rent and housing standards may vary depending on the age of the property, ownership conditions, etc. There may be a waiting period for the allocation of permanent staff housing, which is why temporary accommodation may occur, including in smaller co-housing communities or hotel apartments, for which taxation applies. It is not possible to keep larger pets such as dogs or cats in staff or temporary housing.
