About the institution:
Sikkersoq is an integrated institution with 64 children distributed across 4 rooms, 24 nursery children and 40 kindergarten children. The staffing ratio is 3 employees for each room. The institution is located in Nuussuaq close to Kangillinguup Atuarfia and in a quiet environment. There are 40 weekly working hours with varying working hours. Sikkersoq is open during the daytime between 07:00 AM and 05:00 PM.
The department currently consists of 14 employees: Leader, Deputy, 3 educators, assistants, kitchen assistant, and a floater.
The position, which is a full-time position, reports to the Head of the Institution in Sikkersoq.
Criminal and Child Certificate:
The position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We would therefore like to point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police and the criminal record from the Police.
The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal record is obtained by the individual from the police.
Salary and employment conditions:
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.
Housing:
No staff housing can be provided for the position.
