Teachers for Atuarfik Jørgen Brønlund

Avannaata Municipality is seeking teachers who will hold a position at Atuarfik Jørgen Brønlund, Ilulissat, starting September 1, 2026, or by further agreement.

Atuarfik Jørgen Brønlund is one of the city's two schools with approximately 350 students and 55 staff members.

The teacher's immediate superior is the school principal.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Teach in the special department in all subjects

Salary and employment:

Employment will take place according to the agreement between the Government of Greenland and the Union of Teachers in Greenland, IMAK. Applicants coming from a civil service position will retain the right to this form of employment.

No housing is provided.

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the agreements in force at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the Union of Teachers in Greenland, IMAK.

Employment is subject to a satisfactory public criminal record and child certificate, which will be obtained by the employer from the National Police with the consent of the applicant recommended for employment.
