We imagine that you have an office professional background, but it is not a requirement.

We emphasize that you have relevant work experience and the skills necessary to solve the department's tasks. In addition, you are proficient in both Greenlandic and Danish. It is an advantage if you also speak English, but it is not a requirement.

Furthermore, we are looking for you who:

As a service assistant, your primary tasks will be:

  • to provide professional, service-minded, and welcoming citizen service

  • professional sparring and guidance from experienced and competent colleagues
  • an exciting workplace with varied tasks and professional challenges
  • a good collegial community and a healthy work environment characterized by loyalty, professionalism, and collaboration

You are employed by the nationwide alarm center in Nuuk.

Compensation will be based on education level and qualifications, and in accordance with the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the relevant organization.

The working hours are 40 hours per week. Since the Control Center is open 24/7, you will need to participate in a 3-shift rotation every day of the week, which means you will have to work both during normal working hours from 08:00 to 16:00, but often also outside of normal working hours.

The position is a permanent position with a 3-month probation period.

A furnished staff apartment can be assigned to the position, for which you will pay the deposit, rent, and ongoing expenses yourself. The size of the apartment depends on the number of people in your household. Since there may be a waiting period for the assignment of a staff apartment, a furnished temporary accommodation will be made available to you in the meantime. Hotel accommodation may occur for a short period if there is also a waiting period for a temporary apartment. No temporary accommodation will be provided if you are already residing in Nuuk.

Free relocation of personal belongings and travel for you and your household is provided in accordance with the applicable rules at any given time.

It is a prerequisite that you can be security cleared at the necessary level for the position. You may be required to perform functions where a higher security clearance is needed. Employment in the police and the prosecution service is conditional on your ability to maintain the required security clearance at all times.
