The Kuluk kindergarten in Qeqertalik Municipality Qeqertarsuaq is seeking a social worker/social assistant for employment on March 1, 2026, or by agreement. The position is full-time with 40 hours per week. Responsibilities include caring for the children, collaborating with parents and the team, as well as various tasks.
The kindergarten Kuluk in Municipality Qeqertalik Qeqertarsuaq is seeking 1 Social Helper/Social Assistant for employment on March 1, 2026, or by agreement.
The social worker's/social assistant's immediate supervisor is the manager of the kindergarten.
The position is a full-time job with 40 hours per week. There is space for 52 preschool children. The preschool is open Monday to Friday from 6:45 AM to 5:00 PM. The preschool is part of the INUIT department.
Work and responsibility tasks:
·Work in accordance with the institution's rules and objectives.
To take care of the children in a safe and responsible manner.
Collaboration between different teams and departments.
Collaboration with parents.
·Occasional work and prioritization in relation to tasks.

·Social worker/social welfare assistant, trained.

Salary and employment conditions:
Employment is in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Government of Greenland and the negotiating organization.
No housing is provided for the position.
Criminal record and child certificate:
This position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We would therefore like to point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police, as well as the criminal certificate from the Police.
The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal record is obtained by the individual from the Police.
