Integrated Daycare Institution Timmiaaqqat is looking for a skilled and dedicated nutrition assistant for maternity cover, who can start working possibly by agreement.

Timmiaaqqat has a total of 100 children, aged 0-6 years. Distributed across 7 rooms, where they have 12 children in each room in the nursery and 16 children in each room in the kindergarten.

Opening hours in Timmiaaqqat from Monday to Friday: 7.00-17.00.

Room staff consists of: educators, social workers, assistants, Other staff: Leader, nutrition assistant, and an assistant.

Job content:

We are looking for a – preferably experienced – nutrition assistant to join and take on a number of tasks including:

·Can take responsibility and work independently and that you are responsible, you can take into account the allergic children.

·Close collaboration with parents & staff

·Work according to the Institution's food policy

·That you have Kitchen Assistant / nutrition assistant or as foodstuff

·That you are creative and have an overview

·That you are good at collaborating with colleagues and parents

·That you are flexible and willing to try new experiences

·That you enjoy being with children is important

Criminal and Child Certificate:

The position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal and child certificate. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received a satisfactory criminal and child certificate. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon when the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police as well as the criminal certificate from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Employment will be with a 3-month probation period.

No staff housing can be provided for the position.
