Operations employee

Are you a skilled ship fitter or do you have a similar technical background? Are you interested in a versatile everyday life with both fixed operational tasks and exciting travel tasks in the villages? Then you might be our new operations employee in Uummannaq.

About the position

• We are looking for a committed and independent operations employee for a dual role, where you:
• 50% of the working time is associated with the power plant in Uummannaq, where you participate in the daily operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of facilities and technical installations.
• 50% of the working time is part of our repair team for the villages, where you assist with service, repair, and maintenance tasks on technical facilities in our supply areas.
• The position offers a varied workday with both fixed tasks in Uummannaq and exciting challenges in the villages.

We are looking for an employee who:

• Is a skilled ship fitter, marine engineer, mechanic, or has a corresponding technical education.
• Has experience with operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of technical facilities and machines.
• Works independently and in a structured manner.
• Is flexible and thrives with changing work tasks.
• Has good collaboration skills and contributes positively to the team.
• Is prepared for travel activity in connection with tasks in the villages.
• Has a driver's license (an advantage).
