Minngortuunnguup Atuarfia is looking for 5 teachers/part-time teachers

Minngortuunnguup Atuarfia is staffed for 56 educators and there are approximately 400 students, 20 classes ranging from 1st to 10th grade and 16 special classes, divided into 2 departments.

Teacher's duties:

• Planning and execution of teaching

· Cooperative in the teacher team

· Is open to new teaching methods in collaboration with colleagues

· Is willing to learn to work and teach with iPad

• The evaluation must be based on the student's own action plan, which the teacher prepares

• Ongoing evaluation of the annual plans and the individual student's benefit from the teaching

· Participate in the development of staff and the school

Salary and employment conditions

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to free travel and relocation of personal belongings, are in accordance with the applicable agreements and collective agreements between the Government of Greenland and the teacher organization IMAK. Employment is primarily based on collective agreement terms.

For applicants who are already employed as Greenlandic civil servants, the employment as a teacher may take place as a civil servant. Employment as a civil servant will be in accordance with the Landsting Act No. 21 of December 18, 2003, on the civil servants of the Greenland Self-Government and municipalities in Greenland.
