About the daycare.

The daycare Aqqalooraq in Qaqortoq has 24 children and 9 employees, with the area manager in the daycare sector as the immediate supervisor.

The daycare Angaju is open from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM from Monday to Friday.

We are looking for a kitchen worker for the daycare Aqqalu

We are looking for a kitchen worker for one of the Municipality of Kujalleq's daycares Aqqalu. Qualified kitchen worker or similar experience

Work and responsibilities:

To be able to prepare meals according to the Municipality of Kujalleq's guidelines, professional experience, and knowledge of what the children can eat.

We expect that you:

have an education as a kitchen worker or similar, or have practical experience in the field.

Criminal and Child Certificate:

This position is subject to the law requiring the collection of criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon when the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police, as well as the criminal certificate from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland and the Greenlandic Educators' Association (NPK) or another relevant negotiating organization.

Start date: December 1, 2026, or by agreement.

Employment will be with a 3-month probation period

Housing:

No housing is offered for the position.
