Payroll consultant wanted for the payroll department at Nukissiorfiit

For Nukissiorfiit's headquarters in Nuuk, a payroll consultant is sought for the payroll department, for employment as soon as possible or by further agreement.

The position

As a payroll consultant at Nukissiorfiit, you will be part of a payroll team, where you and your colleague will prepare monthly and hourly wages for approximately 400 employees, in close collaboration with the accounting department and HR.

Together with 14 skilled colleagues in the accounting department, you will help ensure that we at Nukissiorfiit meet our obligations as a net-managed company, and in this way, you will contribute to both supply security and the green transition in Greenland.

You will have a large contact area within the entire organization, and therefore we are looking for someone who understands how to work independently and create strong relationships across the organization.

The position is located at the headquarters in Nuuk, where you will report to the accounting manager.

Area of work:

You will be affiliated with the payroll department in the accounting department, and your tasks will include:

• Preparing and ensuring correct payroll during and after an employment relationship

• Registering payroll variables for payroll runs

• Posting and reconciling payroll data

• Contact with other employees along the entire coast

• Registration and follow-up on external partners

• Maintenance of payroll agreements and collective agreement changes in the payroll system

• Participation in the development of the payroll system

We are looking for a colleague who:

• Has an education in administration or equivalent education

• And preferably with experience in payroll administration

• Has an understanding and insight into agreements and collective agreements

• Is adaptable, quick to learn, and can work independently

• Good collaboration skills

• Can speak Greenlandic and Danish, both written and orally

• It is a plus if you have a good knowledge of "LessorLøn".

Employment conditions and salary:
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between Naalakkersuisut and the relevant negotiating organization.

Employment as a special consultant can occur based on documented experiences and competencies.

The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.

No housing can be provided for the position.

Criminal record:
This position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal record. According to the law, employment can only begin when Nukissiorfiit has received a criminal record. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once Nukissiorfiit has received the criminal record from the Police.
