Chief Financial Officer

Do you have a strong financial understanding, management experience, and a desire to play a central role in an ambitious company in development? Then you might be the one we are looking for as our new Chief Financial Officer.

Pisiffik is a modern retail and foodservice group with 54 stores and restaurants spread across Greenland's 6 largest cities and around 800 employees.

We operate a broad portfolio of strong concepts within groceries, home, electronics, and specialty stores including Pisiffik, AKIKI, SPAR, Torrak Fashion, Elgiganten, JYSK, Pisattat, Panduro & Kids Coolshop as well as the wholesale business KK Engros and the restaurant chain Sunset Boulevard & Burger King.

In addition, we are continuously working on the development of new business areas including expansion within the home, non-food, and do-it-yourself segments. This development places increased demands on financial management, analysis, and business understanding, and as Chief Financial Officer, you will play a central role in supporting this growth journey.

About the position

As Chief Financial Officer, you will have overall responsibility for the company's financial management and become a central sparring partner to the Chief Financial Officer. You will play a key role in ensuring a solid decision-making basis through analysis, reporting, and strategic insight.

You will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and be an active part of the management team.

The position is both strategic and operational, and you thrive on being close to operations and actively participating in the daily financial processes.

Your areas of responsibility include, among others:

• Overall responsibility for financial management, accounting, and financial reporting
• Budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing financial follow-up
• Leadership and development of the finance department
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts
• Liquidity management and banking relations
• Development of financial analyses and management reporting
• Ensuring compliance, internal controls, and accounting principles
• Participation in strategic decisions and projects

Your profile

We envision that you:

• Have a relevant higher education in finance
• Have a minimum of 4-8 years of experience from a finance function with management responsibility
• Have solid experience with accounting, controlling, and financial management
• Have strong IT skills
