Nutrition Assistant sought for Ippiarsuk

In addition to 4 care departments with 12 and 10 places respectively, a sheltered unit for the demented with 10 places, Ippiarsuk also consists of a department for younger people with disabilities with space for 12 residents, as well as a center building with daycare / center function, where approximately 26 users come daily, but can accommodate 39 users. There is also a cafeteria, laundry, and administrative department associated with Ippiarsuk.

Ippiarsuk is a care and activity center that has been in use since 1999 and is located in a beautiful natural setting with good bus connections.

Daily, about 140 portions of main meals are prepared, as well as open-faced sandwiches and snacks for the residents; these are also sold in the café during the day to both users and staff. Many types of dietary food are to be prepared on order from the departments, and users in the activity center, as well as orders from the departments and the rest of the house for catering for birthdays, meetings, and other activities in the house. There is also kiosk sales in the café.

Working hours are usually from 7-15, and work every other weekend as well as on some of the year's public holidays should be expected.

Criminal record:

This position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal record. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received a criminal record. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon when the municipality has received the criminal record from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/contract applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Employment will be with a 3-month probation period.

No staff housing can be provided for the position.
