Arsarner is a school care offer for children in grades 1 – 7.

Are you passionate about leadership and a good childhood? Do you have an overview and can you catch your own, but also others' "balls in the air" and still smile – then maybe you are exactly the one we are looking for as a leader for our School Care in Ittoqqortoormiit.

The school care scheme is an educationally developing offer for children in primary school (grades 1 – 7). The purpose of the offer is to develop the children's general, social, cognitive, and motor skills through structured educational activities, based on the educational annual plan. The work of the school care is facilitated in close collaboration with the school, both to be able to follow up on the educational development areas and to ensure a coherent everyday life for the children.

The after-school program is open every weekday from 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, also during school holidays.

We place great emphasis on a good childhood that prioritizes professionalism, care, and presence, to create the best everyday life and development for children.

We emphasize that you have knowledge of and understanding of the social conditions that apply in Ittoqqortoormiit, and that you are able to target your educational practice accordingly. We therefore expect you to be psychologically robust, able to show surplus and step clearly into character, even in difficult situations. We also expect that you are familiar and comfortable with your heightened duty to report.

·Can engage in educational sparring and collaboration with the school

·Has knowledge of IT/computer operation

·Can participate in administrative and financial management work

The departments are offered ongoing training tailored to daycare and leadership teams.

Criminal and Child Certificate:

This position is covered by the law requiring the collection of criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police and the criminal certificate from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the Police.

Salary and Employment Conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.

Housing:

No staff housing can be provided for the position.
