KNI is looking for an HR consultant for their Service Center in Sisimiut. The position involves responsibility for personnel administration, advising managers, and developing HR processes. You will work closely with HR colleagues and contribute to the digitalization of the HR area.

Do you want to help ensure a reliable and present HR function at KNI? Do you thrive in the span between personnel administration, advising leaders, and developing HR processes and systems? Then you might be the one we are looking for as our new HR consultant with immediate start or by further agreement.

You will be part of HR in the Service Center in Sisimiut, where you work closely with HR colleagues, the payroll function, and leaders across the organization. The position is broad and hands-on, and you will be responsible for ensuring quality in daily HR operations while also contributing to the development and digitalization of the HR area.

About the position

As an HR consultant, you will play a central role in daily personnel administration and the continued development of the HR function. You will report to the HR Team Leader and become an important sparring partner for leaders and colleagues in the organization.

We are in the process of further developing and digitalizing HR workflows, and you will have an active role in the implementation and subsequent operation of our upcoming HR system.

Your primary tasks

You will among other things work with:

  • preparation of employment contracts and appendices

  • administration of hiring and terminations as well as other personnel case processing

  • advising and sparring on personnel and employment matters

  • personnel legal tasks, including warnings, dismissals, and other personnel cases

  • administration of pensions, health insurance, and other employee-related arrangements

  • preparation and quality assurance of job postings as well as support for recruitment processes

  • HR data, key figures, reporting, and ongoing quality assurance of the data foundation

  • development and optimization of work processes in HR administration

  • ad hoc tasks across the HR area

We envision that you

  • have a relevant educational background in HR, administration, law, etc.

  • have experience with HR operations, personnel administration, or related administrative functions

  • have knowledge of personnel law and preferably experience in translating rules and agreements into practice

  • have experience with or interest in HR systems, master data, and digital workflows

  • communicate clearly and professionally both in writing and orally

  • are service-minded, collaborative, and good at building trusting relationships

  • master Greenlandic and Danish in writing and speech

As a person, you are

  • responsible and structured

  • flexible and good at maintaining an overview even in pressured situations

  • relationally strong and diplomatic in collaboration with others

  • both operationally strong and curious about improvements
