Quality Manager

On behalf of Inussuk A/S, which maintains Pituffik Space Base, subcontractor V2X Services A/S is seeking a Quality Manager for the QA Department

The Quality Manager works under the direction of the Program Director, functions as part of the program management function, and thus serves as a communication channel to the organization. The position is for permanent employment as soon as possible.

Under the general leadership of the Program Director, the Quality Manager assists with the daily operations at the program level by monitoring the execution of all program functional areas, collecting and analyzing data, and recommending courses of action to improve performance or resolve specific issues. The responsibilities also include the preparation of audit reports; assisting with root cause analyses and the development of action plans for corrective/risk mitigation actions as needed; conducting follow-up audits to determine the completeness and effectiveness of corrective/risk mitigation actions.

Responsibilities

As a Quality Manager at the base, you will be responsible for the following:

• Preparing monthly and weekly reports as well as deliverables for the Quality department, Corporate, and USG.
• Conducting routine audits or inspections of departments to ensure compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and other data or directives.
• Assisting Operations in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels as well as KPIs.
• Using QMIS (Quality Management Information System) to document Corrective Action Reports (CARs), Opportunity for Improvement (OFIs), Self-Inspection Reports (SIRs), and Quality audits.
• Acting as a Quality representative and facilitating Corrective Action Working Groups (CAWGs) and assisting departments in conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and developing Corrective Action Plans (CAPs).
• Direct communication with United States Space Force Contracting Officer Representatives/Quality Manager.
• Tracking and monitoring QMIS to ensure implementation and effectiveness of all CAPs and resolving all outstanding deviations.
• Responding to customer inquiries in collaboration with program management.
• Training/teaching for managers in quality

Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for a person who

• Has a minimum of 2 years in a similar position.
• Possesses significant computer skills as well as skills in English speaking and writing.
• Has experience with Quality Management System (QMS).
• Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is a requirement to be considered for the position.
• Previous Quality experience in the military at a unit or installation.

Danish citizenship is required for employment, and a valid driver's license for passenger cars is also a prerequisite.

Additionally, we have heightened health requirements, and you must be able to obtain a security clearance (including a clean criminal record).
