The nursery Vâva in Aasiaat is looking for a qualified educator for a full-time position. The position requires relevant education, responsibility, and the ability to work in stressful situations. Aasiaat - The nursery Vâva is looking for a qualified educator or someone with relevant education
The Municipality of Qeqertalik, Aasiaat, the nursery "Vâva" is looking for a qualified educator/or someone with relevant education for employment on October 15, 2026, or by further agreement.
Conditions in the kindergarten:
·The position in the kindergarten is a full-time position of 40 hours a week. The nursery has a staffing norm for 36.
·The nursery is open from Monday to Friday from 06:30 AM – 05:00 PM.
·Kindergarten operations are under Children and Inuit, the Educational Coordinator provides advice and guidance for kindergartens.
Requirements for application:
·Is a trained educator or has relevant education, responsible, good work ethic and engaged, open to changes, has professional knowledge, is calm in stressful situations, cooperative, appreciative, and stable. Physically and mentally healthy, ready to work according to the kindergarten's objectives, action plans, and various guidelines applicable in the Municipality of Qeqertalik.
·Applicants who are proficient in Greenlandic and Danish will be preferred.
Salary and employment conditions:
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with applicable rules and agreements.
No housing is associated with the position.
Criminal and child certificate:
This position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal and child certificate. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received a satisfactory criminal and child certificate. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon when the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police, as well as the criminal certificate from the Police.
The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the Police.
