Nukissiorfiit Paamiut is seeking a proactive operations employee for a project employment of 1 year with commencement as soon as possible after further agreement.
Area of work:
The primary area of work will be tasks related to demolition, environmental treatment, and remediation of old power plants, as well as the construction and setup of new shared warehouses and workshops.
Your tasks include, among others:
- If necessary, participate in the daily operation and maintenance of the production equipment in EGT Paamiut, as well as associated buildings in Paamiut
- Ad hoc tasks as directed by the Operations Responsible Team Leader
We are looking for a colleague who:
- Has relevant vocational education as an electrician, ship fitter, mechanic, machinist, or similar with experience with MAN 8-26.
- Can handle various types of tools and machines.
- Has knowledge of the field
- Is creative and initiative-driven, sees opportunities instead of limitations.
- Has the ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Is flexible and can handle changing working conditions and make an extra effort when necessary
- Has a driver's license
- Is reliable and cooperative
- Participates in on-call duty, one week on call and 3-4 weeks off duty

Salary and employment conditions:
Salary and employment conditions will be in accordance with the applicable agreement between Naalakkersuisut and the relevant negotiating organization.
The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.
No housing can be provided for the position. If you have already been assigned housing through employment in the Self-Government, the right to assigned housing will be maintained.
