At Brugseni Nuuk, we are looking for an engaged and professionally strong master butcher who is eager to take responsibility, create results, and develop both people, the department, and the product range.

As a master butcher, you will be a central part of the store's leadership team and play an important role in the daily operations. You will also have the freedom to imprint your own style on the department and help create a butcher department that customers want to return to.

Your everyday life with us

You will have overall responsibility for the daily operations of the butcher department and become the natural professional and personnel leader for the team.

You ensure that the department always meets Brugseni's high standards for quality, service, food safety, and efficient operations – while also keeping an eye on sales, customers, and employees.

You will also work with traditional butcher tasks, production, and cutting, but there is also the opportunity to think creatively and work with local ingredients, specialties, and new products.

Your primary tasks

• • Responsibility for the daily operations and development of the butcher department
  • Cutting, production, and professional sparring
  • Personnel management, training, and employee development
  • Planning, coordinating, and delegating tasks
  • Inventory management and ordering
  • Responsibility for the department's economy and administrative tasks
  • Sales preparation and inspiring product presentation
  • Self-control, food safety, and quality assurance
  • Follow-up on goals, results, and product consumption
  • Active participation in the store's leadership team

Who are you?

• • Are a trained butcher with solid professional experience
  • Have experience from retail, butcher shop, or food production
  • Have management experience – or have ambitions to take the next step as a leader
  • Have strong business acumen and understanding of what creates a good business

  • Are good at creating structure, planning, and following up
