The nursing home Luuvikasik is looking for a health assistant to be employed from 01 October 2026 or by further agreement.
The nursing home has space for 30 residents, who are in dementia and care departments. Your colleagues will be health assistants, health care assistants, social and health helpers, nutrition assistants, nutrition helpers, and unskilled workers.
Health assistant's tasks:
- Motivated for care and support of the elderly, medication dosing
- Participate in innovation and development
- Be involved in training of assistants
- Possibly supervise an intern
- Proactive for development and maintenance of professionalism
- The position includes on-call duties
Qualifications and requirements
- Trained as a health assistant
- Initiative and ability to involve colleagues
- Bilingual in Greenlandic and Danish (not a requirement)
- Clean criminal record
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreements between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
