Are you ready to become part of a dynamic ward where development, collaboration, and a strong collegial community are in focus? – We are looking for two competent and dedicated health assistants for the medical wards M1 and M2 at Queen Ingrid's Hospital in Greenland.

We are seeking health assistants who are interested in a longer employment in the Greenlandic healthcare system. We can offer both permanent positions or temporary contracts of at least 4 months.

Start date November 1st or by agreement.

About us: The medical department at Queen Ingrid's Hospital consists of two wards, M1 and M2, which receive medical patients from all over Greenland. Here we receive patients for both diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and palliative care – both acute and planned.

The entire department has 26 nurses and 14 health assistants and covers subspecialties such as infectious medicine, oncology, gastroenterology, nephrology, and cardiology. The Medical Department has 32 beds as well as a day ward and outpatient clinic. The department is led by a chief physician, a head nurse, and three department nurses.

Queen Ingrid's Hospital is Greenland's national hospital and regional hospital for the Sermersooq Region. It is a modern hospital with 108 beds, 70 beds in the patient hotel, and high-tech facilities. Housing will be provided according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic healthcare system at any given time.

Salary and employment

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in effect at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Citizenship

If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that employment is conditional on a valid residence and work permit. A residence and work permit can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
