IT supporter for the Tax Agency

Do you want to work with IT support in an organization with a broad touchpoint and great social responsibility? Then you now have the opportunity to become part of the Tax Agency as an IT supporter (1st line) based at the headquarters in Nuuk.

As an employee of the Tax Agency, you will handle many exciting and diverse tasks within operations, service, and support. Your tasks will include supporting your colleagues at many levels, which can vary from phone support, personal guidance, “hands-on” tasks, as well as vendor management.

You will be part of the secretariat with the office manager as your closest leader, but will also have close collaboration with the department for digitization and data. There are good opportunities for both professional and personal development, and you will continuously face professional challenges.

The Tax Agency is a complex organization with a large touchpoint, and therefore has several programs that are interconnected. It is crucial that you are able to handle several different tasks simultaneously, prioritize, and maintain an overview of your tasks.

Your experience and educational background are not so decisive, as long as you have the desire and ability to familiarize yourself with the IT systems.

About the position

Preparation, setup, and installation of workplaces

Troubleshooting hardware and networks as well as AV equipment

Training users on new systems.

Case processing on errors and systems (including vendor management and updating system permissions)

Knowledge sharing and coordination with other colleagues.

Ad-hoc tasks

Travel activity may be discussed in connection with servicing and training of other departments.

Salary and employment conditions
Salary - and employment conditions, including the right to travel for onboarding and offboarding, and relocation of personal belongings, in accordance with the applicable agreement/collective agreement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization at the time of commencement.
For an applicant with the right documentable competencies, employment may occur as a special consultant, chief consultant, or senior advisor in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.

Housing
No staff housing is provided for the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment in the Government, the right to assigned staff housing is retained. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
