About the position
As the office manager for Tusaannga, you will have a central leadership role with responsibility for the overall operation, development, and strategic direction of Greenland's nationwide, anonymous counseling services. You will be responsible for ensuring a robust and well-functioning service where high professional quality, accessibility, and employee well-being go hand in hand. At the same time, you will play an important role in the continued development of Tusaannga through quality development, cross-functional collaboration, implementation of new initiatives, and the development of counseling services in line with citizens' needs.
We are looking for an engaged and development-oriented leader who thrives in both strategic leadership and organizational development. You are able to create direction, motivate employees, and build strong collaborative relationships, while also being attentive to quality, development, and sustainable solutions in an organization of great societal importance.
The position is anchored in Inulerivik, the National Therapy and Counseling Center, which consists of both treatment and counseling services, where Tusaannga constitutes the national anonymous counseling service. As the office manager, you will report directly to the center leader and become part of the center's overall management, where you will have the opportunity to influence the development of a service that makes a crucial difference for people in crisis across Greenland.
Your tasks will include:
- Personnel management and professional sparring with the counseling team as well as administrative staff
- Responsibility for the operation and staffing of Tusaannga's counseling services
- Coordination with relevant partners
- Contribution to the development and implementation of professional initiatives
- Administrative tasks, project management, and reporting
We are looking for you who:
- Has leadership experience and the ability to create trust, direction, and structure
- Has a social, psychological, or other relevant background
- Is good at maintaining an overview and making decisions in a complex everyday life
- Can communicate clearly and appreciatively – both internally and externally
- Thrives in a role with both strategic responsibility and practical tasks
Knowledge of counseling work, mental well-being, or social initiatives is an advantage – but not a requirement.
We offer:
- A meaningful everyday life where your work has a direct impact on people of all ages from across the country
- A competent and engaged team that values openness, professionalism, and collaboration
- A flexible workplace with a focus on well-being
- Thorough handover and close sparring with the management of the National Therapy and Counseling Center.
