A friendly, stable, and efficient employee is sought for the college administration at CAK to start on October 1, 2026, or by further agreement.
CAK is looking for an employee who, with respect for the students' situation, can help ensure structured and service-minded administration in the college department.
The residents of the colleges come from all over the coast, and they have traveled away from family and friends to pursue education. For this reason, longing and homesickness are part of everyday life.
As a new employee, you will have the chief college inspector as your immediate supervisor. In addition, you will collaborate with other staff in the administration, janitors, staff at the college for young people under 18 years, cleaning staff, and other employees at CAK.

We expect you to be versatile and will work with the following tasks:
Draft rental agreements for residents upon moving in and departure.
Ongoing updating of the resident list.
Supervision and ongoing information regarding college occupancy.
Management and supervision of keys (Iloq & Salto).
Ongoing information to parents of residents under 18 years and to colleagues.
Planning and management of newly arrived residents as well as administrative management and handling of residents who are leaving.
Friendly and relevant service via phone, email, and in-person for residents and colleagues.
Conversations with residents according to their needs and wishes.
Purchasing of furniture and other necessities for the colleges, ongoing updating of the inventory list and stock list.
Payroll reporting.
Other miscellaneous office tasks related to college housing.
You must be able to handle individual personal cases.
Professional expectations of you:
Education and experience in administration.
Language skills in Greenlandic and Danish, both orally and in writing.
Good knowledge and experience in various administrative IT programs.
Driver's license.

Salary and employment conditions
Salary - and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the applicable agreement/collective agreement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization at the time of commencement.
For an applicant with the right verifiable qualifications, employment can occur as a special consultant, chief consultant, or senior advisor in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
Housing
An unfurnished staff housing can be assigned for the position according to the applicable rules at any time. Housing cannot be assigned to individuals who already have staff housing or another housing owned by the municipality or the Government of Greenland. Rent and deposit are paid according to the applicable rules for the assigned housing. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
Rent and housing standards may vary depending on the age of the housing, ownership conditions, etc. There may be waiting time for the assignment of permanent staff housing, which is why temporary accommodation may occur, including in smaller co-housing or hotel apartments, for which taxation applies. It is not possible to keep larger pets such as dogs or cats in staff or temporary housing.
