Inulerivik – The National Therapy and Counseling Center is looking for a professionally strong and committed consultant who can be a link between all departments. About Inulerivik
Inulerivik offers psychological and therapeutic treatment options for children, adolescents, and adults in mental distress. Additionally, the Center offers specialized programs for adults who commit violence or have sexually abusive behavior or thoughts regarding children and adolescents.

The Center collaborates closely with municipal social workers across Greenland and plays a key role in national treatment and prevention efforts.
 

About the position
We are looking for a highly service-oriented colleague, with solid administrative skills, where quick task resolution is crucial for Inulerivik's operations. You should be able to work independently and proactively in taking on both large and small tasks that support Inulerivik's employees and handle everyday challenges for all departments. To fit the job, you should be quick to learn, structured, patient, adaptable, and able to communicate with everyone.

Your primary tasks will include:

  • Posting of invoices in IRIS
  • Monthly and annual reconciliations
  • Internal PMs
  • Advising departments on accounting
  • Control of travel reimbursements and approvals
  • Preparing payment instructions
  • Preparing accounting instructions and inventory lists
  • Preparing hourly and monthly salaries

Your secondary tasks will include:

  • Scanning of receipts
  • Guiding management and employees in everyday questions and needs for contact with external parties
  • Updating absence overview, phone list, and distribution lists
  • Ordering necessary inventory, IT equipment, goods for everyday operations, and preparing inventory lists
  • Ensuring that Inulerivik's buildings are serviced by the right people so that the workplace is functional, clean, and meets the needs of the departments
  • Co-responsibility for facility management: You have administrative co-responsibility for internal cleaning, including preparing cleaning plans, quality assurance, and follow-up on standards
  • Other ad hoc tasks
  • Handling secretarial tasks such as managing phone calls, emails, and correspondence
  • Serving as the front person for the center, which means that you will meet and assist citizens with their inquiries
  • Ensuring the maintenance of a systematic and manageable archive, both physically and digitally
  • Handling client contacts and ensuring good communication between the center and its users
  • Managing various administrative tasks, including planning meetings and events
  • Contributing to maintaining a positive and safe working environment for both citizens and staff

We expect you to:

  • Have a relevant education and good verbal and written skills in both Danish and Greenlandic
  • Be very service-minded, independent, responsible, helpful, and reliable
  • Have an understanding of IT at a level to operate our accounting, documentation system, general online ordering and booking systems, meeting invitations, and housing/moving requisitions
  • Be able to keep track of many tasks at once and be flexible and accommodating with questions, regardless of work pressure

The position is anchored in the Front Office, which works to optimize Inulerivik's operations, processes, and communication internally and externally, and you will have significant responsibility across disciplines as part of the Front Office team.

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to travel for relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the applicable agreement/collective agreement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization at the time of commencement.

Working hours are generally 40 hours per week.
 

Housing
No staff housing is provided for the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment in the Government, the right to assigned staff housing is retained. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
