The Bureau of the Inatsisartut is seeking academic committee secretaries with a relevant master's degree. The tasks include advising members of the Inatsisartut, preparing reports, and planning meetings. The position requires good communication and social skills, as well as an independent approach to work.
We are looking for
two or more employees with a relevant master's degree for employment as academic committee secretaries to serve one or more committees
In the committee secretariat, we provide factual, neutral, and professional advice to Inatsisartut members within the committees' areas of work and offer professional assistance in the preparation of member proposals. The tasks range widely from practical tasks related to the committees' activities, drafting reports, correspondence to and from the committee, as well as planning the committee's meetings and travels, and participation therein. If you are a lawyer, you should also expect to engage in legal technical functions.
We emphasize that you have an independent approach to tasks and feel comfortable following Inatsisartut's meeting structure and routines. We expect you to possess excellent communication and formulation skills. Furthermore, we expect you to have initiative, impact, and good social skills to work in a politically governed organization.
The position requires a sometimes high level of work effort.
In return, we offer a work environment characterized by close and informal contact with political decision-makers and competitive salary conditions, according to the applicable collective agreement as well as possible travel for relocation, moving expenses, and housing (unfurnished).
We generally offer the possibility of a study stay in the Folketing during the first 2 years of employment.
Please note that the position is incompatible with active or recent political engagement.

Administrative experience from other public employment will be valued, but is not an absolute requirement.
Start date: November 1, 2026 or by agreement.
