Qasigiannguit - Kindergarten Kulunnguaq is looking for a social helper and a social assistant
Municipality of Qeqertalik Qasigiannguit, seeking social helper and social assistant trained for commencement on October 1, 2026, or by further agreement, in kindergarten Kulunnguaq.
General for kindergarten:
·The position is a full-time position, 40 hours a week. There is space for 60 children.
·The opening hours for the kindergarten are Monday – Friday from 07:00 – 17:00
·Administration for the kindergarten falls under the Head of Department for daycare services.
Applicant's qualifications:Social helper education, be responsible, active and engaged, have an overview, be able to handle stressful situations, be flexible, cooperative, welcoming and stable, possess good physical and mental health, and be prepared to work based on institutional goals, political goals for children and youth, and other applicable rules for employees under Municipality of Qeqertalik.
Salary and employment conditions:Salary and employment conditions will be according to the applicable agreement.
Criminal and child certificate:
This position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal and child certificate. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received a satisfactory criminal and child certificate. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon when the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police, as well as the criminal certificate from the Police.
The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the Police.
Housing:
No staff housing is provided for the position.
