Who are we looking for:
It is important that you see yourself as part of the school's whole and everyday life, and therefore are very flexible in your approach to task solving and the job in general. It will often be you who has to help children, parents, and the school's staff find solutions to big and small challenges in everyday life. Therefore, we need a person who is friendly and welcoming, while also being able to get tasks done in a busy everyday life. As a school secretary, you will be involved in very close collaboration with the school's management.
Who will you be working with:
You will be part of a competent and service-minded workplace with around 50 employees and 500 students.
We are looking for a secretary who can, among other things, handle:
∙Administration of the student/staff system TEA
∙Ordering of goods
∙Enrollment of students
∙Administration of INTRA
∙Bookkeeping of expenses and invoices in Winformatik
∙Servicing of partners – both internally and externally
∙Journaling also via GetOrganized
∙Absence reporting for students and teachers
∙Salaries
∙And much more

∙Have previously worked as a secretary

∙Have knowledge of personnel administration and journaling
∙Can navigate within the following programs: Skoleintra, Winformatik, Microsoft Office suite, and GetOrganized
∙Can meet deadlines
∙Being bilingual in Greenlandic and Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement
Presentation of the company:
Atuarfik Hans Lynge is a school with approximately 500 students, about 50 employees distributed across 4 levels: The youngest level, the middle level, the oldest level, and special classes. Our characteristics are:

Indicate number of hours per week: 40 hours weekly
Criminal and Child Certificate:
This position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal and child certificate. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received a satisfactory criminal and child certificate. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police and the criminal certificate from the Police.
The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the Police.
Salary and employment conditions:
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/contract in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.
Housing:
No staff housing can be provided for the position.
