Specialists and doctors with greater clinical experience sought for the Disko Region, Greenland
As a doctor in Aasiaat, you will have responsibilities including ward rounds, outpatient care, and shifts at Aasiaat Hospital. We have a large outpatient function, where we handle general practice tasks for the city's approximately 3000 residents. We also do this in the village nursing service in an area with 1500 residents in the Disko Region with video consultations and visits to the small villages twice a year.
We have 17 beds and a patient hotel.
We have close collaboration with Queen Ingrid's Hospital in Nuuk regarding patient pathways.
We work in good physical conditions and have a good working environment, where we collaborate to use our competencies optimally in our daily routines.
You will work daytime from 08:00 - 16:00, and in addition, have on-call duty from home approximately 4-7 times a month in Aasiaat.
Our EHR is Cosmic. You will be trained in this if you have not worked with it before.
The Greenlandic healthcare system is bilingual; Danish and Greenlandic.

We are looking for you who:
- Are a specialist or a doctor with extensive clinical experience (minimum introductory training), and Danish authorization.
- Can work in a TEAM around the patients
- Preferably have gynecological experience and/or experience with ultrasound in the clinic.
- Have good communication skills and an understanding of cultural differences.

Housing will be provided according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic healthcare system at any given time.
Salary and employment
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in effect at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that employment is contingent upon a valid residence and work permit. Residence and work permits can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
