Operations coordinator sought for Illuut A/S

Illuut A/S is a property stock company owned by the Self-Government. The company owns approximately 1,000 homes – primarily in Nuuk – and has outsourced operations and administration. Illuut A/S has an agreement with Agerskov Consulting as the administrator, who handles all communication with individual tenants. Illuut A/S also collaborates with a number of companies that perform daily operational tasks upon requisition from Agerskov Consulting.

The role of the operations coordinator

We are looking for an Operations Coordinator who will become part of Illuut A/S. You will be responsible for ensuring that our buildings, facilities, and technical installations function optimally on a daily basis.

Your tasks

You will have a versatile role with great freedom to plan and prioritize tasks yourself, ranging from planned to urgent tasks in our properties. You will coordinate external craftsmen, follow up on maintenance tasks and improvement projects, as well as handle daily operational challenges.

●Ensure that buildings, furnishings, and common areas are well-maintained and functional

●Order materials and coordinate tasks with external craftsmen

●Collaborate with carpenters, masons, plumbers, electricians, and other professional groups

●Operate and monitor the buildings' technical installations

●Handle administrative tasks related to operations and maintenance

You will play a central role in ensuring that residents are satisfied and that facilities and properties are ready for use every day.

About you

We imagine that you have a technical or craft background. It could be from the construction industry, but we are also open to other paths into the profession, such as property service technician or through experience in property operations in other contexts.

You are the type who gets things done and thrives with many points of contact. You communicate well with both colleagues and external partners, and you approach tasks, partners, and residents with a friendly and solution-oriented attitude.

We emphasize that you:

●Have solid technical understanding and preferably craft skills

●Have experience with operations, maintenance, or renovation tasks

●Work in a structured manner and maintain an overview, even when multiple tasks are urgent at the same time

●Communicate confidently and professionally with both colleagues and craftsmen

●Take responsibility and follow your tasks through to completion

●Have experience with Dalux FM or similar digital platform

As the position involves daily contact with both our residents and external partners, we emphasize good communication skills. We work in a multilingual environment where Greenlandic, Danish, and English are used daily. Greenlandic skills are an advantage, as many of our residents have Greenlandic as their primary language. However, the most important thing is that you can communicate safely, clearly, and respectfully with the people you meet.

The job is primarily a full-time position, but if you prefer, for example, 30 hours/week, that can also be arranged.
