RAN Operations Consultant – be part of connecting Greenland

We are now looking for a RAN Operations Consultant who will help ensure that our mobile network always delivers stable, secure, and high-quality communication – no matter where in the country our customers are located.

Your role – technical responsibility with great significance

You will be a central part of our operations team and will be responsible for ensuring stable operations and ongoing development of our 2G, 4G, and 5G RAN networks.

Operations and performance

• Ensure high uptime and performance on critical infrastructure
• Troubleshooting and optimization
• Monitor and optimize network components (BaseBand, RRU, AirFiber, etc.)
• Work across circuit-switched and packet-switched technologies
• Participate in the establishment of new sites and expansion of existing networks
• Ensure effective integration between RAN and core networks

Your profile

You have a solid technical background and thrive in a role where you work both hands-on and analytically.

We envision that you:

• Have a technical education (e.g., technician or similar)
• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience with installation of antennas, feeders, and related equipment
• Have experience with measuring equipment (e.g., VSMR and PIM)
• Are familiar with equipment from suppliers such as Ericsson, Nokia, or Cisco
• Have an understanding of both circuit and packet-switched networks
• Have knowledge of LAN, WAN, and MPLS
• Master English and Danish – Greenlandic is an advantage

Practical

Travel activity is to be expected – especially during the period of May to September

Travel may also occur for the rest of the year

The work can be physically demanding and involves tower work

Location: Nuuk (with travel activity throughout the country)
