The Round-the-Clock and Admissions Department in the Social Agency is looking for a director for Gertrud Rask Minde in Sisimiut.

Gertrud Rask Minde is a round-the-clock offer for children under the Social Agency.

Gertrud Rask Minde consists of 2 departments.

There are 6 places in the department Nanuaqqat. Here live multi-disabled children, some of whom cannot speak, are visually impaired, and several have challenges with walking.

Akulliit receives children in the age group 6-18 years with invisible disabilities; Hearing impaired, ADHD issues, and who have acquired physical and mental difficulties during their upbringing.

Criminal and child certificate
The Social Agency reserves the right to obtain a criminal and child certificate. We therefore point out that employment can only take effect when the Social Agency has received a satisfactory child certificate from the National Police as well as a criminal certificate from the Police.
The child certificate is obtained by the Social Agency with written consent from the individual, while the criminal certificate must be obtained by the individual themselves via the Police.

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Housing
An unfurnished staff housing can be assigned for the position according to the applicable rules at any time. Housing cannot be assigned to individuals who already have a staff housing or another housing owned by the municipality or the Government of Greenland. Rent and deposit are paid according to the applicable rules for the assigned housing. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.

Rent and housing standards may vary depending on the age of the housing, ownership conditions, etc. There may be waiting time for the assignment of permanent staff housing, which is why temporary accommodation may occur, including in smaller co-housing or hotel apartments, for which taxation occurs. It is not possible to keep larger pets such as dogs or cats in staff or temporary housing.
