Deputy Chef in School Care at Nalunnguarfiup School

In Qeqqata Municipality, we are looking for a deputy chef for the after-school program at Nalunnguarfiup school and Minngortuunnguup school, which organizationally falls under Nalunnguarfiup school. The tasks include managing the after-school program, communication with the students, collaboration between the two schools, administration in accordance with legislation, parent meetings, planning activities for the students, and good collaboration among the staff.

Tasks in the after-school program include, among others:

• Ensuring staff community and collaboration
• Serving students and parents, including coordinating meetings with parents and students
• Ensuring correct payroll administration
• Flexible work that applies to all staff in both Nalunnguarfiup school and Minngortuunnguup school
• Ensuring proper communication
• Ensuring planning of activities
• Development and improvement of staff in collaboration with colleagues
• Coordination of services for students in grades 1–5
• Ensuring good conditions for students' well-being
• Clear guidelines
• Respect for diversity
• Responsibility for safety regulations
• Coordination of holidays
• Recruitment of substitutes

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary in accordance with the applicable agreement. No housing is offered for the position.

Commencement on September 1, 2026, or by agreement.

Criminal Record:

The position requires obtaining a criminal record in accordance with legislation. Employment can only take place once the municipality has received the criminal record from the police.
