We will need 2 healthcare assistants for a permanent position or for a temporary position of at least 3 months duration from September 15 or by agreement in Narsaq.

Narsaq is located in South Greenland with 3 associated villages. The population is about 1500, including the 2 surrounding villages.

The health center's tasks primarily consist of consultations for the city's and its villages' citizens. However, there is also a ward with 13 beds with a mixed patient clientele.

As a healthcare assistant, you will need to work very diversely with both outpatient/emergency inquiries as well as with the admitted patients in collaboration with the other staff.

In addition, the health center has 1 doctor, the department nurse, 3 nurses, 1 health care assistant, 5 healthcare assistants, as well as 4 unskilled workers and 2 porters.

Desired qualifications:

• Has experience from emergency room work and is aware of their own area of competence
• Is willing to be trained in e.g. blood sampling/x-ray
• At least a couple of years of experience

Salary and employment

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, according to the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
