Psychiatric Home Nurse for the Regional Hospital in Qaqortoq
We are looking for a nurse who is interested in working in our psychiatric home care starting on August 11.
We can offer a temporary position of 3-6 months duration or a permanent employment.
Approximately 30 patients are attached to the psychiatric home care. We are a small hospital and there is close collaboration with other professional groups. In addition, there is collaboration with the following: relatives/families, living units and activity centers, correctional services, police, caseworkers, support persons in homes, and staff in living units and institutions as well as the psychiatric department in Nuuk.

Functions at the hospital include general medical practice, nursing consultations, emergency room/reception, laboratory, radiology, lifestyle, and much more. Additionally, there is a ward with space for 21 admitted patients, where psychiatric patients are sometimes also admitted. Finally, the hospital is supported by a number of service and administrative areas.

Housing
Housing will be provided according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic Health Service at any given time.
Salary and employment
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Citizenship
If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that employment is conditional on a valid residence and work permit. Residence and work permits can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
