Narsaq Health Center is looking for a cook or nutrition assistant

We are looking for you, who is meticulous, flexible, and independent for our small Health Center in the magnificent and scenic Narsaq.

Narsaq Health Center is a health center with 11 beds and +/- 24 employees.

We offer:

  • Day work from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and you have weekends off
  • Independent and challenging work
  • A workplace with opportunities for development, and you who wish to contribute to training more in the food industry in collaboration with the food school

We are looking for you, who:

  • Has an education in the food industry, preferably as a nutrition assistant or cook
  • Is up for a versatile job
  • Is flexible in different work areas
  • Is good at organizing your work

About us:

  • Narsaq is located in South Greenland with 2 associated villages.
  • The population is about 1500, including the 2 surrounding villages.
  • The tasks of the health center primarily consist of consultations for the city's and its villages' citizens. However, there is also a ward with 11 beds with a mixed patient clientele.
  • We are a team that is good at working diversely and interdisciplinary, everyone has something to contribute
  • The town is located in a beautiful area, a little over an hour's sail from the regional town of Qaqortoq, by helicopter it takes just under 10 minutes.

Housing will be provided according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic Health Service at any time.

Salary and employment

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, according to the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Citizenship

If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that employment is conditional on a valid residence and work permit. Residence and work permits can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
