We are looking for a porter/porter rescuer for Narsaq Health Center starting on August 15, 2026. The position involves collaboration with various professional groups and tasks in patient care. We offer a good introduction and a positive working environment with a focus on collaboration.

We are looking for a Porter/Porter Rescuer

We are looking for you who:

  • Has a porter-rescuer education
  • Is part of the frontline staff with a large contact area
  • Professionally skilled, present, and calm in pressured situations
  • Bilingual (Greenlandic/Danish), service-minded, and takes on tasks
  • 40-hour work week and participates in the emergency response with on-call duty
  • Has hands that are well-suited, as there are also tasks to be solved in the house
  • Can also assist the nursing staff in the department with patient care

About us:

  • The health center has 21 employees - doctors, nurses, assistants, interpreters, department assistants, secretaries, and nutrition assistants
  • There are 11 beds in the department
  • Your nearest leader is the department nurse

Housing

Housing will be provided according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic Health Service at any given time.

Salary and employment

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Citizenship

If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that employment is conditional on a valid residence and work permit. A residence and work permit can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
