At Atuarfik Edvard Kruse, the position of school inspector is available for appointment from October 1, 2026, or by further agreement.

Atuarfik Edvard Kruse is a school that focuses on learning and well-being, the development of core tasks, including work with inclusion, to create the best school for the students. The school also values collaboration with parents highly to achieve the overall goals. The school has approximately 204 students and 35 staff members.

As a school inspector at Atuarfik Edvard Kruse, you will also have overall responsibility for the 5 associated village schools Niaqornat, Qaarsut, Ikerasak, Saattut & Ukkusissat, as well as the student home where the oldest students from the villages are placed.

It is expected that you as an applicant:

• Are a qualified teacher
• Have experience with school management
• Are development- and results-oriented, proactive, and energetic

Salary and employment conditions will be in accordance with the agreement of August 27, 2014, between Naalakkersuisut and Ilinniartitsisut Meeqqat Atuarfianneersut Kattuffiat, IMAK, for teachers in public schools in Greenland, etc., and the Main Agreement of October 28, 1998, between Naalakkersuisut and Ilinniartitsisut Meeqqat Atuarfianneersut Kattuffiat, IMAK.

You will be employed under special fixed-term conditions according to the agreement of February 16, 2007, on employment under special fixed-term conditions. Additionally, a non-pensionable severance amount of DKK 18,000.00 will be provided as an annual base amount per April 1, 1991, for every 12 months of employment.

Housing may be provided for the position, for which a deposit and rent, utilities, etc., will be paid according to the applicable rules for rent payment in the Government of Greenland and the municipality's properties, etc., in Greenland. If permanent housing cannot be made available immediately upon commencement, temporary housing will be offered to employees entitled to vacation housing, for which rent, utilities, etc., will be paid according to the above.

Other employment conditions, including the right to relocation travel and moving expenses, will be in accordance with the agreements in effect at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and Ilinniartitsisut Meeqqat Atuarfianneersut Kattuffiat, IMAK.

Applicants coming from a civil servant position in Greenland will retain the right to this form of employment.

This position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain a child certificate.

We must therefore point out that the commencement date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received a satisfactory child certificate from the National Police.
