Paarsisoq is both a nursery and a kindergarten located along the road to the Radiofjeldet district.

Paarsisoq has space for 90 children; in the nursery, there are three rooms, each accommodating 12 children. In Paarsisoq, the children's division into rooms is as follows: the youngest and middle-aged are grouped in two rooms, and in the third room, children around 2 years old are trained for transition to kindergarten.

In the kindergarten, there are three rooms with 18 children each; here, the youngest and middle-aged are grouped in two rooms, and one room is reserved for children who are about to start school.

Paarsisoq is located close to the city center, which was used as a kindergarten in 1969, but later an extension was added to the nursery.

The staffing ratio is 22; leader, deputy, 4 department heads in pedagogical positions, 6 child/social helpers, 6 assistants, a cook, a kitchen assistant, and a cleaning assistant.

Criminal and Child Certificate:

This position is subject to the law requiring the collection of criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the national police and the criminal certificate from the police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.
