1 teacher for Princess Margrethe School in Upernavik

Avannaata Municipality, Princess Margrethe School is looking for 1 qualified teacher who can be employed September 1, 2026, or by agreement.

Princess Margrethe School is a well-functioning school with around 180 students and 25 teachers.

The school is looking for a teacher who can teach the following subjects: Mathematics, Physics/Chemistry, and Natural Geography

We expect you to be:
·A qualified teacher
·Capable, friendly, and loyal
·Visionary and innovative
·Collaborative and willing to participate in the school's development
·Open to new teaching methods
·Able to use iPad in teaching

Salary and employment:
Employment will be in accordance with the agreement between the Greenlandic Government and the Teachers' Union for Greenlandic Schools, IMAK.

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation travel and moving expenses, will be in accordance with the agreement in effect at the time of employment between the Greenlandic Government and IMAK.

Employment may also occur under special fixed-term conditions.

Staff housing may be provided.

Employment is subject to a satisfactory public criminal record and child protection certificate, which will be obtained by the employer from the National Police with the consent of the applicant recommended for employment.
