Kangaamiut Atuarfia is looking for a teacher

There are positions for 8 teachers.

The classes have students of different age groups, distributed over 4 classes. There are two in the special class. There are students from 1st grade to 10th grade. There are 46 students at Kangaamiut Atuarfia.

We need a teacher who can teach all subjects at Kangaamiut Atuarfia.

Renovation of the school has started.

Salary and employment conditions

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to free travel and relocation of belongings, are in accordance with the current agreements and collective agreements between the Government of Greenland and IMAK (see www.imak.gl). Fixed-term employment will be for three years with the possibility of extension for one year at a time.

A housing can be provided

A staff housing can be provided for the position, for which a deposit and rent, utilities, etc. will be paid according to the current rules for rent payment in the properties of the Government of Greenland and the municipality, etc. in Greenland. If permanent staff housing cannot be made available immediately upon commencement, temporary staff housing will be offered to employees entitled to a vacant housing, for which rent, utilities, etc. will be paid according to the above.

Child certificate:

This position is subject to the law requiring the collection of a child certificate. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate and criminal record.

Criminal record:

This position is subject to the law requiring the collection of a criminal record. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received a satisfactory criminal record from the Police.
