Chief Information Security Officer

SEARCH THIS POSITION About the position

As the Chief Information Security Officer, you will be responsible for setting the direction of the company's security efforts and ensuring a high level of security across the organization. You will be an important sparring partner for management and work closely with IT, operations, engineering, and the business, as well as external partners, to identify risks, establish effective security measures, and ensure a robust and resilient telecommunications infrastructure.

The focus of the Information Security Department is to mature the information security level at Tusass. This is achieved through the implementation of security controls and documentation thereof in the form of ISAE 3402, optimization of security processes, and the implementation of information security technologies in close collaboration with the entire organization.

In addition, we are responsible for training employees and reporting to the board and relevant committees. We operate based on the ISO-27001 security standards.

Tusass' current strategy towards 2028 focuses primarily on strengthening Greenland's digital infrastructure, improving customer experience, increasing security, and investing in new technologies.

As the Chief Information Security Officer, you will be a central driving force in realizing Tusass' ambition for a secure, robust, and future-proof digital infrastructure for the entire country. You will play a crucial role in protecting critical systems, enhancing cybersecurity, and ensuring that our digital solutions can support both customers, society, and future needs.

Your tasks will include, among other things:

• Preparation and follow-up on maturity and risk assessments in our ISMS tool.
• Development of an awareness annual wheel and activities, which are planned and executed in close collaboration with the rest of the organization.
• Support for process development in relation to information security initiatives, including contingency plans.
• Task management, maintenance, and development according to the department's annual wheel for Information Security.
• Follow-up on audit statements and data processing agreements
• Management of ISAE 3402 type 2 reacquisition
• Project management of Enterprise Risk Management - the work of identifying, assessing, and mitigating strategic risks.

We are looking for you who:

• Is aware of the importance of good cross-organizational collaboration and a communication style that fosters acceptance.
• Is clear, engaging, and present
• Has good communication skills and is able to set the stage for IT security. You know that it's about people and processes – then technology. You have the ability to make information security relevant to the company's employees.
• Has experience with information security work and management thereof - with a good structure, an eye for being proactive and problem-solving, as well as the ability to collaborate.
• Passionate about strengthening the security efforts in the organization.

Your skills match the described tasks and include knowledge of the ISO 27001 standards as well as relevant tools within IT processes and security.

In addition, it is an advantage if you have experience in the telecommunications industry, but it is not a requirement.
