Administrative Employee

We are looking for an office-trained employee for a busy day at the police station in Aasiaat. Tasks include phone handling, public service, accounting tasks, and case processing. We offer an independent job with good development opportunities and colleagues. Full-time position with a 40-hour work week. Security clearance required.

We are looking for an employee, preferably with an office education, who is eager to be part of a busy everyday life.

An employee who finds it exciting that our tasks are many and varied, so the days never seem the same. We expect you to be part of our team at the police station.

The main tasks are:

Telephone answering

Public service

Accounting tasks

Case processing in the form of: Enforcement cases, paternity cases

Registration and deregistration of vehicles

Passport and driver's license ordering

Other incidental office work

A little interpretation, if necessary

We expect that you:

Office trained

Bilingual in writing and speech, an advantage but not a requirement.

This is a full-time position with a 40-hour work week from Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM.

Salary and employment conditions

Salary and employment conditions in accordance with the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the relevant professional organization. You may be assigned a staff housing. You will need to pay the deposit, rent, and utility expenses yourself. Relocation assistance and travel expenses for you and your family will be provided according to the applicable rules at any given time. If you reside in Aasiaat, no vacant housing will be made available. It is a prerequisite for employment that you can obtain security clearance, and you must be able to maintain the security clearance throughout your employment.
