Are you interested in managing and maintaining the municipality's IT systems and equipment? Then you might be the IT trainee we are looking for in Kommune Kujalleq.
The IT trainee position in Kommune Kujalleq is ready to be filled by March 1, 2026, or by agreement.
As an IT trainee, you will work on various tasks with your colleagues in the IT department, covering operations across three towns and eleven settlements in the municipality. The tasks and needs within the municipality are highly diverse, significantly impacting the daily operations of the IT department. Together with your colleagues, you will handle a wide range of tasks, including user support, maintenance, and various installations. The municipality is continuously developing and adapting to technological advancements, with iPads playing a crucial role in students' daily lives, and you will be responsible for ensuring their usage and operation.
You will report to the department manager.
Responsibilities and tasks:

Maintenance and operation of the municipality's and schools' IT equipment.

Installation of hardware and software

Assisting users and troubleshooting computer errors

Providing service and guidance to users

Continuously handling tasks within the IT department
Qualifications:

Documented experience in IT operations and support, particularly with Windows 10

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Ability to solve technical problems and errors through networks and software

Familiarity with daily iPad usage

Ability to plan and work independently across departments

Good teamwork skills and understanding of user needs

Proactive in finding solutions, detail-oriented, and curious

Knowledge of Greenlandic, Danish, and English is an advantage
Salary and employment conditions:
Salary and employment terms, including relocation expenses, will be in accordance with the agreement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant union in effect at the time of employment.
Housing may be provided according to current regulations.
