Teacher for Atuarfik Edvard Kruse Uummannaq

At Avannaata Municipality, Atuarfik Edvard Kruse, Uummannaq, a teaching position is available for filling as of September 1, 2026, or by agreement.

We are looking for a teacher for the school's senior level. We are particularly seeking a teacher who can teach Physics, Mathematics, and in smaller subjects.

And someone who can take on different roles alongside.

Employment will take place in accordance with the agreement between the Greenlandic Government and the Union of Teachers in Greenland, IMAK. Applicants coming from a civil servant position in Greenland will retain the right to this form of employment.

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation travel and moving expenses, are in accordance with the agreements in force at the time of commencement between the Greenlandic Government and the Union of Teachers in Greenland, IMAK.

Employment may also take place under special fixed-term conditions according to an agreement between the Greenland Self-Government and IMAK, whereby a severance payment of 18,000 DKK in annual base amount is provided as of April 1, 1991, 19,818.29 DKK as of April 1, 2012, and an annual vacation travel allowance for the employee and their family.

Housing for staff can be provided.
