The Municipality of Sermersooq is looking for a skilled and dedicated Substitute (someone who steps in to help as needed) for the Daycare Institution Nuka. Start date is to be agreed upon.

There is room for 40 children in the Nuka Daycare Center. There are 20 children in each room.

For children between 3-6 years old.

Opening hours at the Daycare Institution Nuka: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Staff distribution per room: Assistant manager, educator, trained educator and similar, social worker assistant, and one helper.

A kitchen assistant, a cleaning assistant, and a manager.

The content of the position:

The floater (someone who steps in to help as needed) can work in some areas, i.e., the floater must be mobile; for example, the floater can clean or be in the kitchen or in the living rooms depending on staff shortages.

·That can collaborate closely with consumers

Can work according to Inatsisartut Act No. 62, of November 20, 2023

The tasks are prepared together with other employees and the parents.

Health, go for walks outside every day, healthy diet, exercise, Kammagiitta,

Have a special focus on preschool children and have joint activities together with the children, employees, and parents every month.

Criminal and Child Certificate:

The position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police as well as the criminal record from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal record is obtained by the individual from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.

No housing can be provided for the position.
