SIK is seeking a legal advisor for our secretariat in Nuuk, starting September 1, 2026, or by agreement. Responsibilities include case processing, legal advice, preparation of proposals and informational materials, as well as providing consultation responses. We expect you to hold a master's degree in law or a bachelor's degree in law, have administrative experience, and possess strong language skills.

SIK is seeking a lawyer for our secretariat in Nuuk, starting September 1, 2026, or by further agreement.
The content of the position:
Your tasks will be very varied. You will primarily, in collaboration with other employees in the secretariat, have the following tasks:
* Case processing of personal matters, including dismissal cases.
* Legal advice on various topics to colleagues in the secretariat, to the secretariat-
the manager, as well as to the chairman and vice-chairman of SIK.
* Preparation of proposals for SIK's main board.
* Preparation of legal information materials.
Submission of consultation responses to forwarded consultations from the Self-Government regarding proposals for laws and
announcements.
We have the following expectations of you as an applicant:
- You are educated as a Master of Laws or Bachelor of Laws.
- You have administrative experience.
- You are bilingual, Greenlandic, Danish, and have good English skills.
- You have knowledge of Greenlandic society.
- You have good collaboration skills.
- You are service-minded.
