KNR is looking for a strategically strong and communicative profile who can support the management in the implementation of KNR's strategy and the development of the organization.
As a Strategy and Communications Consultant, you will play a central role in driving strategic development projects and ensuring clear, coherent, and credible internal and external communication about KNR's development.
The position reports directly to the director and involves close collaboration with management across the entire organization.
Your main tasks
You will be responsible for, among other things:
coordinate the implementation of KNR's strategy and ensure progress in the strategic initiatives
establish and maintain an overview of strategic projects, milestones, and deliveries
ensure that employees are continuously informed about goals, decisions, and development projects
develop the external strategic communication about KNR's development, modernization, and societal role
coordinate communication with Naalakkersuisut, the board, partners, and other stakeholders
contribute to the development of KNR's brand, reputation, and position as Greenland's public service media
We are looking for a colleague who
has a relevant higher education in communication, political science, journalism, social sciences, or similar
has experience with strategy implementation, project management, or organizational development
has strong competencies in strategic communication
writes clearly, precisely, and convincingly
can create structure and momentum in complex tasks
works independently and takes responsibility
has good collaboration skills and can navigate between management, employees, and external stakeholders.
It is emphasized that applicants have good language skills in Greenlandic, Danish, and English, as well as a thorough knowledge of Greenlandic culture and societal conditions. These competencies are an essential part of the overall assessment and are weighted together with the professional and managerial qualifications.
It would be an advantage if you have knowledge of the public sector, political processes, or the media world.
Salary and employment conditions
Employment is in accordance with the agreement between the Government of Greenland (Greenland Self-Government) and the relevant professional organization.
Job interviews are held on an ongoing basis.
Employment is subject to a 3-month probation period.
Housing
No staff housing can be provided for the position.
If you have already been allocated staff housing through employment in the Self-Government, the right to the allocated staff housing is retained.
