Communication Consultant

Royal Greenland is seeking a communication consultant to enhance internal communication. You will plan, produce, and coordinate communication across languages and units. We are looking for an independent individual with a journalistic background who can tailor content to the audience and create engagement.

Communication consultant with a focus on internal communication

Do you want to help strengthen the community and information flow in Greenland's largest company? Royal Greenland is looking for a communications consultant who is passionate about ensuring clear, present, and coherent internal communication – across languages, units, and geography.

About the position

As a communications consultant, you will be responsible for planning, producing, and coordinating internal communication at Royal Greenland. Always with the opportunity for support and collaboration from good colleagues. You will be the link between management and employees throughout the organization – from the headquarters to the factories around the country and to our international colleagues.

You will help ensure that important information gets out, and that the good stories from colleagues are told. We emphasize that you can work independently, have an eye for the target audience, and create engagement through your communication.

Your primary tasks will include, among other things:

  • Preparation and publication of internal communication on intranet, SharePoint, information screens, and other platforms.
  • Ongoing contact with factory managers and support for local communication
  • Collection and dissemination of stories and news from across the organization
  • Coordination and technical setup of internal events (townhalls, campaigns, Teams events, etc.)
  • Preparation of minutes and meeting summaries with support from AI tools
  • Moderation of comments on Royal Greenland's Facebook page
  • Proofreading and language check in both Greenlandic and Danish
  • Has a journalistic or communications background
  • Speaks and writes fluently in both Greenlandic and Danish.
  • Has experience with internal communication and can see the importance of the small stories.
  • Is good at adapting content to the target audience and assessing what needs to be communicated – and how.
  • Is structured and manages to maintain an overview in a daily life with many tasks.
  • Works independently and sees your tasks through to completion.

You will be part of a team consisting of three consultants, a student assistant, an interpreter, and the communications manager. We are a small team playing on a big field, valuing collaboration, good laughs, and being able to support each other highly. We like to move quickly and work purposefully and professionally to make a difference for Royal Greenland and the community, while maintaining an informal tone.
