Nanotechnology Technician/Constructor

The position of Technician in the Nanortalimmi Technology and Environment Department is set to be filled starting from the beginning of March 2026, subject to agreement.

Two technicians from the Nanortalimmi department are working in the municipal construction sites and waste management facilities, under a single operator, with a team of ten.

Atorfik

You will work as a technician in the Illit allaffeqarfik. The responsibilities and skills required will particularly include the following:

• Supervision regarding the avatars.
• Government responsibilities related to municipalities.
• Minor tasks in monitoring and supervision.
• Evaluation and assessment of the results.
• Management of natural resources.
• In the context of nanotechnology, various tasks are being monitored in rural areas and in the agricultural sector.
• In relation to the management of the tasks in the area of responsibility and the administration, other tasks are also being monitored.

We expect that you:

• You must have completed a relevant education, and if possible, you should gain experience in some of the fields.
• You can use several languages (Greenlandic, Danish, English…).
• You are very hardworking and dedicated to your colleagues.
• You can work with a structured approach.
• You must have skills in the use of computers and knowledge of the Office package, NunaGIS, and ArcGIS.
• Through titles, writing, and speaking, you can clearly and creatively present your ideas.

The resources used for employment and work-related activities

The appointment will be made in accordance with the agreement between the Government of Greenland and the trade union for employees.

It is possible to provide a larger area for housing while ensuring that the applicable regulations are followed, and that different fees for housing and services are charged.

During the appointment of the municipality, travel and relocation expenses will be considered according to the applicable regulations.

Assessment
